oof. I am ridiculously full. There’s this place about a block from my home, the Portage Bay Cafe that has the yummiest breafast/brunches. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it. All their stuff is organic and good, and they have some interesting specials and stuff. I think I’m allowed to have at least 1 good real breakfast (even if it’s for lunch) a week. I have this strange urge to put together a Guide to Seattle type of thing. Or at least a guide to Seattle food. I don’t know why, I don’t really know that much about Seattle. I guess I just want to share my love for various places. I finally checked out the Ugly Mug cafe too. They’re a really cute little place. It feels like I’m in someone’s living room when I’m in there. It’s mostly espresso type stuff but also some interesting sandwiches and soup and stuff.
Hmm… Maybe I should make a Seattle food blog. I guess there’s already tastingmenu but I don’t like that one, and I think it’d be nice to have a sort of little guide to tasty places. It’d the be my first non-personal blog, and one that other people could actually write with me, if they wanted. I don’t know, good meals make me happy, and I guess I’ve grown up in a pretty food-centric family. I guess it’s pretty universal though, cause I mean, everyone has to eat. Plus, it’d give me an excuse to actually go on my Quest for Good Seattle Pizza.
Also, I think the Tango is one of my new favorite dances, cause it doesn’t have any set steps to remember. You just sorta wing it. It’s a little frustrating how dances like Salsa and Tango (and maybe most others) are all led by the guys. I suppose it would be pretty confusing if you were constantly switching though.
Oh, and The Goonies @ the Fremont Outdoor Movies was cool. It’s such a nice silly movie.
