History
I’m at my parent’s house picking up my random crap ( art supplies, cds, books, etc ) to fill my new apartment with. But also dug through my “trunk-o-memories” to look for ticket stubs cause I wanted to make a concerts page. The Trunk is always kind of fun to go through. It’s like a time capsule. Weird how I managed to fit like 18 years of memories into one trunk, although most of it is from highschool. It’s weird looking at all that stuff in retrospect.
It always made me kinda sad that my girlyfriends didn’t write me notes. Amy was the only one I really ever passed notes too in class. I think every single one of them was about one of our boys. Apparently I only kept one of them, but I guess it was sort of a significant note. Enough that just reading it made me kind of upset again. Not like a lot, but just a quick punch in the chest type thing. Too much drama in highschool. Also letters from Neal that stirred up a whole bunch of different things. It’s weird mixing those letters with my spring break in Maryland. Lots of other stuff in that trunk too.
But anyways, It’s nice to look back at all this crap and be able to see progress and actually be really happy about how much I’ve changed in these past 2 years. The new and improved Jayne is much better than the previous versions. “Fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable…” Also, I think I’m finally getting into Radiohead recently. I’ve been trying to like them for years, cause everyone’s always like yay Radiohead, but I couldn’t do it. I guess it just wasn’t my time yet. Fortunately, I think the time has come.
