adventures update
So the past few days have been crazy with moving in, doing poorly in japanese*, and having oodles of fun.
The new apartment is SO AWESOME. I still haven’t gotten over the awesomeness of my new room. It’s like perfect and I just love my new home. I have so much space, tons of natural light, and a balcony! I have room to make things! Maybe I’ll finally get around to painting that giant canvas of mine. I feel like we should have a party or something just cause we’d have the room for one. I also love how I’m pretty close to everything.
I also got a banjo! It’s awesome! I really love how it sounds. Now to just learn how to play it. I also think the guy that helped me out at the store might have been hitting on me (especially cause he gave me his number) which is kinda funny cause that like never happens to me. Maybe banjos are a lot sexier than I thought.
And at midnight last night Zach and I ran 3.1 miles around the Seattle Center! It was pretty cool. We made it in like 41 minutes ( 4 minutes before they make you move to the Sidewalk of Shame), and I pretty much only walked like for one little itty bit just to try and make my tummy feel better. I think having Chipotle before hand was probably a bad idea. It was kinda weird not having my iPod (cause i always do when i go running), but I had an iZach singing Fox in the Snow, was just as good, if not better. But yeah it was cool when we were done. I felt all acomplished and stuff and not even tired. It’s weird cause i don’t really get out of breath or tired from running any more, but I still can’t figure out how to keep my tummy happy. It’s always either hungry or cramping.
And tonight we’re going to Gasworks for the fireworks and fun! yay!
* I REALLY need to get my shit together for Japanese cause I’m doing pretty bad. It would suck to go through all this to not even have in count for my language requirement cause that was the whole point of taking it. Hopefully I’ll be able to focus better now that I’m finally all moved in and settled and stuff, cause I’m really sucking it up. Not even cause it’s hard, but just cause I’m me and I hate memorizing shit and I would rather be out having fun than learning my vocabulary and stuff. But yeah I guess I should go study now, cause Japanese is the only thing that’s not going awesomely right now (which isn’t actually too bad).
