last night at B204!

Oh sad! It’s our last night at this apartment. Well, it’s actually more of a Yay! Last night at this apartment! Also last day of crappy Comcast, at least for a while. But yeah, it’s kinda weird. I don’t feel like we’re moving tomorrow. Maybe because I still have to pack up tons of shit and clean and stuff. It’s also a little weird cause I’ll be spending 2 days in apartment limbo (aka peter’s place) where I will probably be sleeping on piles of furniture or something. It’ll be interesting fitting all of our stuff into that little place. But by this weekend, everything will finally be all settled.

I think fate wants me to learn to play the banjo. A few weeks ago I saw a real banjo, I think for the first time. Yesterday Peter & I were talking about our old philosophy prof. who played the banjo, while looking at a catalog of banjos. Then Zach sent me a Bluegrass Tribute to Air (which is really cool). And then I found this site. I think it would be pretty sweet to be able to play the banjo. I would imagine that it’s not much different from playing guitar, but I don’t really know anything about it.

Also, this Ferret calendar I bought from the lost & found for 50 cents is like the best calendar I’ve ever owned, even if I can only use July-December now. Pictures once I get time to flickr. I hope I get my flickr schwagg forwarded to me… I really want to flaunt my flickr pride.

I suppose I’ll save the other rant I was gonna write for another time. Gotta pack (and I suppose learn my Japanese vocab).
