We’re not going to have a TV at our new place all summer so I’m not getting cable. But without the cable, the internet would be pricey. I suppose it’s not that bad, like $50ish a month or so, but I’m entertaining the idea of not having internet in my apartment all summer. I know, I’m crazy. What did people do without highspeed internet in their room?? This will be especially hard for me cause I’m so attached to it, but I think it might actually be really good for me. Not that I’m cutting off from it. I plan on mooching free WiFi from either the chai lounge or the espresso roma cafe (or even Starbucks, right across the street from roma’s). Or maybe someone in my apartment will have an open network, in which case I’ll still be online all the time. I dunno, the idea of getting things done is kinda exciting. The only thing I’m kinda worried about is messing up my Audioscrobbler, which is kinda sad. But yeah, No TV or internet…What will I do all summer?
Also: Laser shows are pretty. Late night Belle&Sebastian is nice. Indian lunch buffets are awesome. Farmer’s Market is cool. and Japanese is taking over my brain.
