super printy fun time
More like more crazy waiting fun time. I wish I could just buy one of these Then I wouldn’t have to sit around in the lab doing nothing all the time. At least it gives me an excuse to blog, cause what else could I be doing in the meantime?
I’ve decided that the “fun time” suffix is my new favorite thing to do. It makes everthing like 10x more fun. Like “super-wonderful crazy-fun time!*” or “happy flatmate fun time.” or “awesome bloggy fun time.”
Upon seeing Zach’s concert page yesterday I tried making a list of mine, which is a lot harder than I thought it’d be. It makes me sad kinda realizing that I’ve been to so few shows in the past two years that I’ve been here cause so many awesome people come through Seattle. I can’t wait till next summer when it’ll be happy 21 and up concert fun time. I already feel kinda old when I’m at shows with crazy youngins.
But it’s also pretty sad that I don’t remember all the bands I’ve seen, even though I don’t think I’ve seen that many. Apperently how ever fabulous I thought some shows might have been 4 years ago I guess they didn’t leave much of an impression on me, though I guess what’s important is that I had a good time then. I had to refer back to my old diaryland site (although that only covers junior and senior year of highschool) to refresh my memory. Like, apparently at the last Pointfest I went to I got one of the bands to sign my ticket, which I apparently got for free. I guess if I wrote it down it happened, but I don’t remember this at all, of course that was the year I wasn’t into like anyone there, but still.
It’s also kinda funny comparing the shows I went to in St.Louis and the ones I’ve been to here. I’d say that what I’m lacking in quantity I’m making up in quality. And hopefully I’ll be able to take advantage of Bumbershoot this year. Especially cause Jay is working on hooking me up with not only a press pass but also a photo pass so I can skip lines and get in the photographer’s pit, which would be cooler than skipping lines at Disneyland. It’s months away, but I’m already stoked. Oh! and Doves show this Saturday! so much excitement!
