Yay! I’m all done with my paper! And because I don’t know where else to rant about this, random things I’ve been thinking about as I wrote my paper:
- I wish I had synesthesia. That would be weird but awesome. Unless good songs made me see ugly colors, then it would suck.
- It’s kinda ironic that I was listening to an all French mix while writing about how Thailand was never colonized and how Vietnam was colonized by France. I like the French a bit less when reading about colonizing people, but their music makes me like them way more. So, France is still cool with me.
- Thailand is super. I mean, I knew that before, but after this class it’s awesome points have gone up like 50%. I don’t know what’s up with people just being obsessed with China and Japan. Thailand is where it’s at, yo.
- I’m not too sure about communism. I guess I don’t think I really understand it or something. I mean, it sounds like a pretty good idea. Why does it always seem to fail? Is it just too idealistic? I read Animal Farm back in middle school, I think that’s about the extent of my understanding of it. Something about pigs named Napolean and Snowball and how 4 legs are better than 2. Like I always think I know what’s up with communism, but then I read things and get confused. I’m pretty sure I like the sound of socialism though. What is this line between socialism and communism? If someone would like to explain it to me, that’d be cool. It’s kinda weird but it bothers me that I don’t know if I’m suppose to think it’s good or bad. I obviously never payed much attention in my highschool history classes.
