long weekend
Thursday:
So, I’m taken now = ) It’s cool cause I’m actually happy to be like officially together, whereas in the past I would never really admit it for various reasons (which I won’t go into right now.) I guess it’s just different. different people, different situation, different mindset, etc. Anyways, Zach is awesome.
Friday/Saturday:
The Improv Show was really fantastic. It’s been a really long time since I’ve laughed that hard. I think the Lion Tamer Rock Opera was the best part, I tried to take a video, but I’m a dumbass and messed it up. But Vancouver is really great. I really liked our crappy little hostel cause it made me feel like a real backpacker, but I don’t think it was up to Riley’s accommodation standards. I could have done without the morning church bell songs every 10 minutes, but other than that it was pretty cool. Also picked up some sweet new shoes! yay!
Sunday:
We went up to Anacortes to see Architecture in Helsinki which was also really cool. The Department of Safety is a cool little venue. My expectations for Anacortes were way off, it totally showed me up. There wasn’t a whole lot around there but it was really pretty, and had some nice climbable trees. I’ve decided that anyone that doesn’t live in the pacific northwest must be crazy. It is so great up here.
Today: Parents took me out for some Indian food. mmm. And now to actually work on school stuff the next 7 or so hours of today…
I’d say that’s a pretty decent memorial day weekend. I give it 50 awesomeness points.
