art to the max!
So the other day I got my ArtAdvice e-newsletter thing and it said this upper level printmaking class, Serigraphy, was actually open to people who haven’t had the prereqs this fall. I had to ask internet what Serigraphy was but apparently it’s just a fancy name for screen printing. So in the battle between art vs physics it’s pretty obvious who the winner is. I was actually really interested in taking this physics class though. It’s for non-majors and it’s all about light and color, and I really like light and color. But it just seemed wrong to not take this screen printing class, so the advisor signed me up for it just now.
I only need to take like 8.5 more credits (thats like not even 2 classes!) outside of the art department in the next 2 years, which is cool. I really like this feeling of being on track and not having to worry about stuff like that. Makes me feel all mature or something. I’m It’s going to kick ass cause I wont have any classes on Fridays. so 3 day weekends all quarter in the fall! rock on! It also just makes me happy to look at my schedule for the fall and see nothing but ART ART and ART. A little worried about having 3 studio classes, because I hardly have enough time for the 2, but whatever. I’m a dork for being so excited about classes, but I really am totally excited for them.
also, wouldn’t it be neat if you could just download the bus time tables and put them on your iPod? It would be super handy, and probably not all that difficult to do cause you can store notes on there and stuff. This is like one of the best ideas i’ve ever had. (aside from the convertable rollerskate shoes, which apparently already exists.)
I don’t know if this dancing kitty song Zach sent me counts as a music video, but I’m going to say it does cause it makes me laugh every time i see it. I can’t wait till Riley gets the kitty next year so it can dance for me too.
